we created a program for 400 young future growers, bringing together Dutch growers, consultants, and industry professionals with young Korean greenhouse entrepreneurs for a series of classes on energy efficiency, business strategy, and generational farming challenges. Our team designed the curriculum and delivered tailored consultation to participants throughout the program.

Joining Forces with Hope Soil: Connect Dutch and Korean Growers

We joined forces with Hope Soil, a growers’ cooperative, signing a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen agricultural collaboration between the Netherlands and South Korea. Together we discussed working more closely through joint events, networking, and new business opportunities for the industries around us. With strawberry farmers, tomato farmers, and many other growers at the table, this MOU grounds the partnership in real, on-the-ground ambitions and marks the start of a shared effort to connect our two agricultural communities.

Building Busan’s Aquaculture Cluster: A Roundtable on Korea–Netherlands Collaboration

Big group of consortium from Busan — Busan Metropolitan City, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the Korea Maritime Institute, and Pukyong National University — to explore building an aquaculture ecosystem with Wageningen and the wider industry. We convened a roundtable of qualified stakeholders to advise on Busan’s new aquaculture cluster, due for completion in 2028. Sharing our platform and experience across the Dutch and Korean sectors, we focused on turning raw materials into high-value products and on advancing food technology through Netherlands–South Korea collaboration.
