We welcomed students from Korea National University of Agriculture and Fisheries to the Netherlands to tour our greenhouses and meet stakeholders across the sector. These young farmers are both successors to family farms and first-generation entrepreneurs building greenhouse ventures with government support. We delivered a seminar on the Dutch agriculture ecosystem — the Wageningen model, its curriculum, its industry ties, and how startups and established players collaborate — giving Korea’s next generation of growers a practical view of how the Netherlands links education, enterprise, and innovation.

When a provincial delegation visited the Netherlands to explore rural development, we delivered a seminar on the ecosystem behind Dutch agriculture — not the farming, but the model that connects academia, industry, and government. We shared how this “Golden Triangle” translates research into innovation and aligns policy with industry, and how its collaborative principles can be adapted to other regions.
